I am very excited to join Sonoran Sky and teach 6th grade SCG!
​
This will be my 10th year in PVUSD plus 2 1/2 years in Massachusetts. I taught for 8 years at North Ranch in PV before coming over to Sonoran Sky.
I was born in New England and moved to Phoenix when I was 9. I went through PV Schools as a student for elementary-high school (Elementary: North Ranch; Middle: Sunrise; and High School: Pinnacle). I then went on to the College of Education at ASU-Main and earned my Bachelor of Arts in Education with my major in Elementary Education. After graduating, I returned to New England for a few years thinking I wanted to live there again where there were four seasons. Nope! I was ready to come back to the desert not long after moving there. After I moved back to AZ, I started teaching at North Ranch. I am a member of Kappa Delta Pi International Honour Society in Education and am fully gifted endorsed. I look forward to continuing my master's degree as well.
I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was four-years old! I can't imagine doing anything else. I am also looking to continue my master's degree in the sometime future for a Master's in Elementary Education with a math emphasis.

Lastly, I have a 1 1/2 year old golden retriever named Clouds. She will be two in September. She loves to play, bark, and demand rubs!
